    • Have you considered the appropriate channel for the audience?
    • Are you able to use less content?
    • Do you have a statement in your email asking the recipient to consider the environment before printing the email?
    • Can the envelope be used as a return device?
    • Can personal details be easily removed by the recipient prior to recycling?
    • Can the use of personal details be minimised to aid recycling by the recipient?
    • Have you utilised both sides of the paper to best effect?
    • Can you use a lower grammage of paper?
    • Can you use less paper to communicate your message?
    • Have you used standard paper sizes confirming to BS EN ISO 216 for more cost effective production?
    • Can you use less packaging?
    • Are you printing an optimum amount that is cost effective and will not be wasted?
    • Can you lower the ink coverage?
    • Can you increase recyclability by not including non paper based products?
    • Can the direct marketing communication be easily adapted for future campaigns?
